Prior to returning to graduate school at Ohio State, I worked in advertising and publicity. I worked as a publicity intern at Warner Bros. Records in 2012, where I wrote press releases, refereed phone calls between artists and journalists, and maintained press contact sheets. From 2013 until 2016, I worked at Marcus Thomas LLC in Cleveland as a strategist and account planner. I conducted research for clients on products and services ranging from lawn mowers to water filtration. I made recommendations for advertising and social media campaigns based on the research I conducted. During summer 2016, I worked as a production assistant for CNN during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Throughout graduate school at Ohio State, I acted as a social media consultant for businesses in Columbus and throughout the country.
